Fight back the squish

Made for the Pirate Software January 2024 Game Jam. Theme: It's Spreading

The squish is spreading over the world, destroying all in it's path. You can fight back, place towers, use abilities and survive to destroy the squish and rid the world of this menace.

This is a prototype of that idea, have a go and let me know what you think.

Controls: Use your mouse to Start the Game and select actions to take on your turn. 

In game click the ? icon to toggle the help screen on or off

Last update

- Added in a soft grid highlight that helps the player tell where they can place tiles and will make the experience a little less guesswork

- The mouse cursor will now change to an icon of the Tile or attack to be performed.

Known Bugs

- Currently the goo can get stuck in an Attacking state. The current fix is a short timer that forces the enemy turn to end so if you think nothing is happening just wait a few seconds.

- Various Z ordering problems
